Highlights:

Perrin’s love for movement began as a toddler running around on the soccer field. Playing collegiate-level soccer was her dream throughout childhood, so when her middle school PE coach said signing up for cross country would be the best way to prepare for high school soccer, she was all in. Little did she know she’d fall in love with the freedom of running, as well as her supportive team environment, and she soon traded her soccer cleats for track spikes. Her passion for running continued in college, and she was inspired to run her first trail marathon. This was where her love for the trail running community was born. After volunteering at a 100-mile trail race in 2017, she became interested in ultramarathon distances. What could be better than spending all day running through the woods?! She’s since completed 11 ultras and finished her first 100k distance trail race last fall. While you’ll find her on the start line of many classic Atlanta road races, her heart is on the trail!

Perrin’s journey to becoming a Physical Therapist took a winding path. She entered undergrad at the University of Georgia with the intention of becoming a PT but became concerned that she was committing too early without exploring other options. After changing majors from Exercise Science to Physics to Mechanical Engineering, and finally to Biomedical Engineering (which required transferring to Georgia Tech), she realized she still needed to find a career that involved helping people feel healthy and strong. During college, she spent several months in PT as a patient for a hamstring injury, which reignited her interest in physical therapy. She describes her degree in Biomedical Engineering as truly a degree in “problem-solving,” and physical therapy is a career in problem-solving with the human body.

Perrin earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University, and she has specialized training in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy through the APTA. She became passionate about pelvic health as soon as she realized how little information folks are taught about the pelvis, despite the important role it plays in many functions within the human body. She has experience in pelvic health along with orthopedics and thus uses a whole-person approach when assessing and treating her clients to discover the underlying issue and empower them to achieve their goals. She also has a background in research in neuroscience and female physiology and strives to stay abreast of current evidence in the field in order to best serve her clients.

Outside the clinic, you can find Perrin exploring trails with her husband, Kyle, listening to nerdy running podcasts, reading at a local coffee shop, or playing with her nephew and baby niece in Rome, GA.

Perrin will be taking clients at Precision beginning February 11, 2026
