In-Person Video Gait Analysis

What to Expect

  • Review your running history, previous injuries and obstacles to running, as well as your future running goals.

  • Assess your running shoes to determine if you are in the correct shoe. If you need a change, we can direct you to the best running shoe stores in the city.

  • Watch you move! We will take you through a series of functional movements to determine where you may have tightness, weakness or impaired motor control that could be affecting your running.

  • Perform a video gait analysis of your running form, either on a treadmill or outside. You will receive immediate visual and verbal feedback about how to improve your form.

What to Wear

  • Wear comfortable clothing

  • Women wear a sports bra

  • The running shoes you normally run in and any others you want us to look at

What you Get

  • Education and answers to your running questions. If we don't know the answer, we'll connect you with someone who does.

  • Tailored running drills

  • Exercises to improve the imbalances and impaired motor patterns that we see.

  • Following your session, you will receive an email with our findings, prescribed drills or exercises and a step-by-step plan to help you reach your running goals.

Next Steps

  • Before you leave you appoint schedule a follow-up for 2-4 weeks later to make sure what we are teaching you is working and to let us help you continue your progress

  • Schedule a VO2 Threshold test to get more data and direction about your training a physiology
